Bredgar Parish Council held an Extraordinary Parish Council Meeting on 11th February to update parishioners about the Highsted Park Planning Inquiry and to provide an opportunity for them to tell councillors their latest views on the matter. A good number of parishioners attended and the minutes of the meeting will be published on this website soon (as usual).

A simple presentation was shown during the meeting to support the update and assist the discussion. Highsted Park slides from this presentation can be viewed under published documents on our website here.

Full details about the Inquiry timing and documents can be found in the two Swale planning letters below:

Notification letter - Highsted Park SOUTH

Notification letter - Highsted Park NORTH

Although Bredgar Parish Council decided not to apply to be Rule 6 participants at the Inquiry we are continuing to represent our parishioners through our involvement with Five Parishes Group. For more details about Five Parishes Group see our previous News item here.
